Any thoughts about Odwalla superfood bars as a snack/mini meal?

Odwalla Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein are, in my opinion, much more worthwhile calorie-wise. They taste better (again, in my opinion), and have 12 grams of protein. Sometimes I eat half now and half later, e.g. before and after the gym. I love them!

I used to love energy bars but these days, I view raw fruit and vegetables as a much superior snack.

A stalk of celery is about 15 cals, an apple 80 cals, a cup of grapes about 70 cals, a cup of cherries (yum) 75 cals--and all of that adds up to less than one chocolate Odwalla bar (260).

In fact I'm amazed at how low calorie fruit actually is. I'm so glad I switched away from low carb!

The chocolate protein ones are 200 calories. It's a healthy amount, but it keeps you full and has protein that fruit doesn't. I budget for them, and usually only eat them in "hunger emergencies" instead of, like, once a day like I used to.

I like them a lot, but everyone keeps critizing me that they have too much sugar.
