Hello all! I'm new to MFP. I'm a new mom (DD born Jan 2011) and a SAHM "from" SparkPeople.com. I'm not new to calorie counting and everything that goes along with the lifestyle change. I had to take a break while I was pregnant and after I had DD I was just so excited to not have to watch what I was eating I went a little overboard. I lost 40 pounds while on SP and I have gained most of that back. I'm looking for a new, simpler way to track with out all the fuss. I just got a phone that will allow me to track through the MFP app so I figured it's time to start this! No more excuses! With DD being 6 months old now I have a little more time each day to track and plan. I hope to lose up to 80 pounds in this first step.

I'm new here as well. So far I love the interaction and the ease and ability to track everything. Love how it will even track the exercise I do :)

Good luck. Don't forget ever little bit counts. My favorite piece of advice anyone has given me is that you need to set real goals. "Rome was not built in a day," so you will not rebuild yourself in a month it will take sometime.
