JennG's Tuna Casserole
I am on a 1200 calorie diet and so far have lost 20 lbs. Here is one of my recipes that has helped me along the way.
If you like tuna casserole try out this recipe. I have entered it in the database too. It is only 243 calories per 1/8 of a casserole dish full. Here's how you fix it:
4.75 cups of Heartland Rotini noodles (a whole box)
2 cans of Great value solid white tuna drained, chopped up
1 can of 98% fat free cream of celery soup
1 can of Great Value sweet peas
1/2 cup bread crumbs
Cook the noodles according to the box and put in a casserole dish. Add the celery soup, peas, and chopped up tuna. Mix until well coated and mixed together. Level out in casserole dish and sprinkle bread crumbs on top. Cook on 400 15 minutes or so until hot. A serving is about 1/8 of my casserole dish. If you make it in a larger casserole dish and serve smaller portions it will be less. I fix my portion as a whole meal instead of a side dish.
Happy Eating.
