correct calorie counting

Hi, can anyone help me? I've noticed the calorie counter on Runkeeper counts a lower amount of calories than MFP. which is correct?

neither most likely. I'd choose the lower, but from my personal experience, a mile walked or run is about 100cals burned. It's quite dependent on speed, age, weight, height, elevation, etc.

Hello, Is this to track the calories you have burnt from exercising? My Runkeeper is more accurate for me as its tracks my pace accurately. However you need your correct weight in hte Runkeeper app to make sure this is reliable,

Getting a heart rate monitor (watch with chest strap) is the best way to know for sure. Look at the Polar FT4 or FT7 heart rate monitors, they get lots of good feedback on this forum.
