runners: what is your resting heart rate?

I had surgery 3 weeks ago - and was at a consistent 38 to 42 at the highest. I came with the disclaimer as they passed me from nurse to nurse - It's OK she's a runner0

Mine is still in the low 70s but it is down from where I started.0

Mine is in the upper 80's...what the heck is wrong with me??
Stress? Caffeine? Or your current training load could all affect this.
I think stress is right! and i suffer from anxiety. It used to be well over 100 though resting, so i guess i am headed in the right direction at least!!0 -
Depending on time of day, and how long I've been sitting & "resting" I've counted it between 46 & 54.
I'm not exactly sure what it was back in the day, but low 60's seems to be what I remember.0 -
