Fruits and veggies are home grown thanks to my mom! I generally try to sneak in some turkey for lunch time but shopping on a budget is hard!0

Ground turkey, shrimp, salmon, tilapia, black beans, chick peas, low-fat wraps, almonds, walnuts, oatmeal, granola, Greek yogurt,
low-fat crackers, pita halves, orange juice, and where are your fruits and veggies? If you aren't used to cooking vegetables yet start with some frozen vegetable steamers that have assortments of veggies in them. Add a little olive oil and lemon juice and a nice herb mix to them--delicious. And pick up recipes here or hungrygirl.com or skinnytaste.com. Keep coming back, I check out recipes here very day!0 -
multi-grain deli flats (in bread section)
pasta sauce like ragu
feta cheese (or your favorite kind of cheese)
put it together and put it in the toaster oven or regular oven till the cheese melts. So yummy and a quick lunch!0 -
try skinnytaste.com. I don't usually pimp out websites, but every single recipe I have tried of hers has been a hit! She truly has some of the best variety of recipes that I have seen and that still have great taste! You can search by ingredient (such as....chicken).0

This is not so much a recipe as it is a suggestion to get you out of the chicken, chicken, chicken rut. I love MorningStar Farms spicy black bean burger. It's really good. You thaw for a minute in the microwave then grill for a few minutes in a pan. I like mine on those whole grain thin buns with a few slices of avacado, or just with mustard. I always have them in my freezer in case I get strapped for time and need a healthy dinner suggestion.0

I do alot of yogurt and sometime freeze it for snack, then defrost a little when ready to eat. Very good and good source of protein. Also throw frozen fruit, skim milk and yogurt and ice in a blender for smoothie!!! Good stuff and fun!0

Most of my recipes use turkey. Suggest you go to myrecipes.com and take a look. The site has many good recipes. Check out the turkey 3 bean chili recipe (if you like Mexican type food) , you put it in crockpot and let it cook for about 4 hours. Its low cal and a goodly portion. Turkey tenderlions in various favors (island teryaki and sweet bbq) are a great low cal meal also. Just add a bunch of veggies and you have a great dinner. I eat turkey burritos on wheat tortilla in the morning for low cal breakfast. Add a couple slice of fresh pineapple and you have a great low cal breakfast with some much need protein if you are exercising.0
