Halloween Damage...

As I am a 21 year old student in a small college town, Halloween turned into a MAJOR throw down.
I went to a party at my friend's house, which was fun. I rarely hang out with this group of people because I'm very shy and I basically think that everyone hates me unless they specify otherwise. ANYWAY, After 2 drinks and 2 jello shots, being a lightweight, I'm smashed. Also, being a total pyromaniac, I stuck my foot into the fire and burned the crap out of my big toe. (brilliant, i tell you)...After all of that damage, I proceeded to order a large pizza and eat the majority of it alone. horrible.

So basically, I've been trying to recover from my Friday night by eating extremely healthfully. I can't workout due to the 2nd degree burn on my toe....

Basically I posted this just to hold myself accountable for my idiotic actions and to remind myself that I should NOT drink again...except for the occasional wine at dinner.

Hope all of your Halloween nights turned out to be less caloric than mine!
Happy November!

Yeah mine was pretty rough for the most part. I didn't really eat I don't think that bad but just feel really bad, I ate 2 reece cups on Friday and that was all the candy I did eat. I was pretty proud of myself for that one. I just didn't log my food much and didn't work out at all. That is why I am getting up early to get my big butt to the gym. I am pretty sure that I can do this.

I just pray that I can make it through this right now, I feel so big right now and I can't understand why I feel this way. Well I am pretty much not focused right now at all. i am watching tv and a lady that is paralayzed from the waist down giving birth. Wow that is about amazing.

Well I guess I didn't lose it to bad, just going to get back on track. Well off to bed now. So I can get up and go to the gym.
  • Hey... thats the beauty of college towns!

Sounds like u had fun, even if it doesn't help with the weight loss.

College is supposed to be crazy and you'll never get another time in your life where it is ok to do those things. As long as you get back on track, you'll be fine!

Just maybe stay away from fires and ask for sugar free jello in the jello shots!

Half a plate of sugar cookies... 3 pieces of pizza... 3 alcoholic beverages... no exercise... oh yeah and lunch of a 10pc chicken nuggets and fries at mcdonalds. Darn these holidays! I have my weigh in with the nutritionist this week and something tells me I haven't lost any weight... and yet that I have gained!

Thankyou to ALL of you who did not make me feel like a total loser!!!

MollySue- if that was all the candy you ate, you did awesome!!!

Dj- It's SO hard to stay on track in college (and not be boring)...I'm finding a way to balance all of it, but Halloween was NOT a good indicator of my balancing act.

Sweetpea- I'm right there with ya! We will get back on track, no worries.

You made me laugh and reminded me of myself SEVERAL years ago when I was a college student!

You're doing great so don't worry about the weekend- I'm finding Friday nights an ongoing struggle to stay away from the beer and nachos and I should know better at my age!

There's always Monday to start all over again!:flowerforyou:

You make me feel ashamed of that fact that, although I'm also a 21 year old college student, I stayed home and cleaned. The highlight of my night was fitting 1/2 a medium DQ pumpkin pie Blizzard into my calories. :embarassed: I am boring. Everyone tells me I'm like a 30 year old already because I have such a set routine and work and never go out...I think that's sort of an insult to 30 year olds LOL

haha, I stay home and clean often (totally OCD) - I'm rather used to getting the "why are you so LAME?" phone calls from my drunk friends at the bar. But I guess that when I go out, I really throw down!

Oh, and I"m jealous of the blizzard...next time I make a really bad decision, that will be it!

It was SO GOOD. 1/2 of the medium was only 285 cals, and I didn't even go over, so it turned out well. Today I made the vanilla creme pumpkin cheesecake and since we ran for about 107 minutes I'm getting a jr frosty and 5 piece chicken nugget since I have 1300 calories to eat...heheh I love spending my free time running  I had a sip of some Kahluah holiday nog, but I pretty much don't like alcohol at all so I never drink. Thus, going to bars is sort of silly.

The crazy Australians don't celebrate Halloween, so there was no candy about, but I DID convince my coworkers to dress up with me and go out for some festive drinks after work.... the "festive drinks" turned into a 8 hour night out that included MANY drinks and lots of Lebanese food (don't ask about who joined the bellydancer)!

It was fun though, and I'm willing to make up for it! Good for you for getting back on track Caro! :flowerforyou:
