Sometimes I get into funks where I get a little down that I'm single. So I'm making a list to keep in my computer of the positives of being single! What are yours? I'm looking to add some to my list. I realize this might be a little silly but it makes me feel better!!

Some good ones I've read so far:
- You can do whatever you want, whenever you want. No questions asked. No guilt about doing it either. You don’t have to make excuses. You don’t have to call someone to check in on her or ask permission to go somewhere.
- You can have the TV remote all to yourself.
- You get the whole bed to yourself.

Love being single! I am heading overseas next year for an unknown amount of time, and I am purposely staying single so I have nothing or no reason to hold me back. This is something I've always wanted to do for me, and staying single is the way to achieve this Do what you want, when you want!

I am very recently single, and the thing I have enjoyed most is being able to seriously clean my apartment, and actually have it STAY clean! No bf coming around and messing up things from the way that I like them.

I also enjoy having the whole bed to myself, as well!

I Am single and have been for a while now. It was hard for me at first and sometimes I still get a little lonely, but then I tell myself I am glad that I do not need to be with someone to make myself happy. When I do date people this makes me feel more confident about who I want to be with and who I don't, cause I know I am not going to just be with someone that is not right for me so I am not lonely.

let them call you what they want....i stopped caring. I love myself...and it's only the married friends that shake their heads at me, they're all jealous cuz i have WAY more fun

I love that you all responded! Here are some more I thought of
- you don't have to double check your plans with anyone...you don't have to say "hmm, i'll talk to my boyfriend/girlfriend about it."
- you can live life without someone holding you back
- you don't lose your friends
- you can eat whatever you want
- you don't waste money on dates, buying him a gift for valentine's day, Christmas, his birthday, etc.
- you control the remote and dvr!
- and since we're on MFP...you get to exercise all you want without someone wondering where you are! and you get to admire all the hot guys at the gym

But all my single friends are jealous! Haha.

I actually had one of my hookups turn super-clingy.

It's funny because some of my friends say "you have no feelings!!"
But I think it's so much easier to just not get attached!

Being single rules! My faves are:

Playing the field. Being able to have a great night with your girl friends with no responsibilities. Not feeling like you have to set a standard. Not having to shave my legs/lady bits. Having loads of male friends with no questions asked about it.
