I did my treadmill interval workout this am--30 min total, with 2 min at 6.0 mph, then 1 min at 7.0 mph. I only had to stop once to catch my breath--must be all that Halloween candy powering me! I also lifted weights, but I didn't have time for the full workout so just did the best I could.

Thanks, Arlene! I really just started swimming regularly a couple years ago. Before that it had been a LONG time since I had done more than playing w/ my kids in the pool!! I got into triathlons this summer and really enjoy swimming now!

No running for me for a couple days. I had such severe GI problems I went to a specialist today for an emergency visit, and tomorrow I'm going for a CAT scan and meeting with a GE next week. I can't run, but I can do light activity and lift peripheral muscles, but no ab work or valsalva maneuver.

I ran a little over 3 miles, and did my first day of shredding...but then after dinner I ate a whole bunch of my son's Halloween candy :grumble: :explode:

    Tomorrow's another day.

Luckily, I have avoided Halloween candy. My husband ate most of it!
Did a great 4.5 miles today in balmy Iowa weather. It's supposed to rain the rest of the week so I might try to get a run in Tues morning...

LOL yea, I really can't have any more Newtons until I get it figured out, because of the seeds! I told the Dr not to tell me I couldn't run, but he did anyway. Darn health!
