Zumba Calories

Was trying to enter my exercise onto my daily log - I did an hours Zumba class but it doesnt seem to be on there ? Anyone any ideas approx how many calories this would be? I googled it and 3 different websites all came up with 1000 !!!!

Any ideas ?

I know it is hard to say for definite but was looking just for an estimated idea...

But really, you should get a HRM. [:

According to your profile, you don't have much to lose. Provided this is accurate I very much doubt you're burning upwards of 500 calories.

I did Zumba this evening, a 1 hour class and I burnt 402 according to my HRM.

It was actually pretty accurate for my average.

Log it in as high impact aerobics. You burn more calories than dance alone.

I had the same problem. I first use this site http://www.zumbacalories.com/ , as Hannah suggested, and then log it here as Aerobics, general, it's usually pretty close to the number from that site

I logged it as jazzersize since I thought it was similar but it will be interesting to see what I get on Zumbacalories.com.

IDK if it's been said, but zumbacalories.com is a pretty good site to get calories burned from Zumba..
