Fresh & Easy

As a single young guy, cooking for just myself is a bit of a challenge. Part of what got me into the 'scare zone' was eating out almost every single day, and going to the bars. After I accepted the fact that my metabolism clearly isn't what it used to be in high school, I slowed down the drinking (I'm a lot happier now because of that) and started hitting up grocery stores. Typical foods I would buy I would cook way too much and overeat. Needless to say one of my co-workers recommended Fresh & Easy, a chain out here in California (not sure if they have it in other states). They pre-package meals that are easy to cook and come in 1-2 servings, and they also do family size meals. It may be a little more expensive than a regular grocery store, but for me it is just what I was looking for. Just thought I'd throw it out there for those of you who may have wanted to try it!
Cheers,
Jared

F&E is great, it's like Trader Joe's mixed with a regular supermarket.0

I just checked to see if we had one in Michigan and looks like they are only located out west:-( I hope they start expanding soon, it sounds like a great idea!0

I shop at Fresh & Easy weekly, the meat prices are pretty comparable to grocery stores, and the fruit seems to be cheaper. I like that F&E branded products are free from hormones and a lot of the bad stuff. Happy shopping!!0
