30 Day Shred Question

What size weights do you use to do the 30DS? They never actually give a recomendation. I use 3lbs. Just curious what everyone else is using.

I use 3 lbs. It looks like they are using 2-3 lb weights in the vid.0

I started with 3 and moved up to 5. I also started out doing push-ups on my knees and built up to regular push ups.0

Wow, my arms are so weak, i juggle between 3lb and 1lb. Mostly 1lb win throughout though. I'll get stronger as i go i guess.0

I used the lowest set I had, which was 5 (I'm on day 27 today) and at about day 7, I realized "Hey! No wonder they are doing this so much easier than I am ... there is NO way those weights that Natalie or Anita are using are 5 lbs!" I'm almost certain they are using 3 lbs. If I'd had 3 pounders, I would have started with them.
That being said, I didn't have them and didn't want to spend money on more hand held weights, so I have used my 5 pounders all the way through and was amazed to discover that in just a few days after starting each level, I could keep up with the girls using my 5 pounds and then I felt like a total rock star! LOL ...0 -

NICE JOB!!! Me too! My goal was 5 'regular' push ups by the end of level one and I got to 10. Now I'm on level three, traveling push ups ... I can do them ALL 'regular style'! Even my kids, who walked in one day said "Whoa mom! You can do real push ups now!"0 -
I use 3lbs and sometimes 8lbs depending on what she is doing....
Hmm...Imma have to get back into my shred dvd...hope this helped0
