Breakfast and Snack Ideas needed ?

I've never been a breakfast eater, I try but I'm not hungry in the mornings so it makes it very hard to remember to eat. I am going to try to incorporate eating breakfast in my diet now as once my son gets older, I want him to eat breakfast . My biggest issue is allergies, it makes hard to find quick choices.
Eggs
Milk (protein allergy)
Honey
Peanuts
Strawberries
Cantaloupe
Watermelon
Honeydew
Kiwi
Salmon
Tuna
Imitation Crab Meat
Soy
Also would love some snack idea, as a breastfeeding mom (well pumping every two hours) I try to eat a snack typically it is almonds but looking for a variety.

I would try some other type of fruit, I eat bananas, and maybe a piece of whole wheat toast. Also, I believe there is a dairy free yogurt that is made from coconut milk rather than soy (also, maybe there is on with rice?) though I am not sure if these are actually entirely soy-free, depending on your sensitivity. Granola (peanut-free, of course!) with rice milk would be good. A bagel with almond or other nut butter (or sun butter, a favorite of a boy I babysat with both peanut and tree nut allergies).
Allergies can be hard - I have Celiac's and can't have gluten and it is often hard to find low calorie and gluten free options. It takes work, but I'm sure you can find some delicious, allergen-free breakfasts!
Best of luck!0 -
Almond Milk? I have no allergies, but I love the stuff in cereal.0

Almond milk and a vegan muffin might be a good idea [vegan = no milk, eggs or honey...look for recipes online. I like the recipes from Vegetarian Times website becaue you can customize your search results easily]0

Thank you ! i will definitely try the almond or sun butter as well as Almond milk, didn't know they had it. I'm not a big bread eater and when I do it's typically potato bread just because finding whole wheat bread with no honey is difficult.
aejbx4x7s~ I had chronic hives for nearly a year when I was 17; they had me eliminate wheat, tomatoes and a few other things. Turns out I had a wheat sensitivity , so they had me a gluten free diet for a while and slowly reintroduce it back into my diet . To this day I cannot eat a ton of wheat without hives, so I limit what I eat. How are gluten free foods? During the time I couldn't eat wheat I just lived on baked chicken/pork and veggies as we didn't know much about gluten free foods.0 -

I never even thought of vegan anything and one of my bf's is a vegan! Thank you .0 -
Also, you should be able to eat Rye Bread. When I started my diet I cut out all white flour, I'm a big fan of Rye now. If you have a bakery, they probably do assorted Black Breads (very popular in Eastern Europe).
The soy makes it harder, but research vegan products, a lot are gluten free. Some are soy free.0 -

I had chronic hives when I was 17, too! I still get them if I eat gluten. They thought I had lupus and a bunch of other things, but I finally figured out it was Celiac's. GF foods can be awesome or awful. Udi's bread is good; it's GF and I think soy/dairy/egg/peanut free. Also, Trader Joe's GF english muffins are good, I know they're dairy free, but not sure about the others. The Food Should Taste Good brand is GF and soy/dairy/peanut/egg free I believe. If you've never had they're stuff, they make awesome sweet potato tortilla chips. There is a brand of brownie at whole foods that is EVERYTHING free and delicious - they come in single serve packs, but I'm not sure of the brand. Generally, I just stick to naturally GF foods, though, as others can be quite pricey. I would check out Trader Joe's if there is one near you. I can't eat a lot of stuff there bc I am extremely sensitive to gluten (their foods don't contain gluten, but they are processed on shared equipment). They often have a lot of options that are gf, egg/dairy, etc free. Udi has bagels, but I've never tried them, but that could be a good breakfast option. I am lucky to live near a GF bakery (they also have dairy/egg/gf foods!).
Also, I sometimes eat non-traditional breakfast foods. Veggies, meats, whatever I like - I think we get stuck thinking breakfast should be pancakes or cereal or oatmeal, but why not eat lunch or dinner style foods in the morning? I LOVE grits, also. I don't care for oatmeal but grits are awesome. I eat them with butter, but I used to eat a vegan butter substitute that was delicious - earth balance spreads.0
