My Elliptical squeaks-CS says use Teflon grease?

I have a NordicTrack 990 Pro Audiostrider Elliptical machine. I love it, but it has started to squeak very loudly after about 30 minutes of use. I called customer service twice and they told me to use "High temperature, multi-use teflon grease." That any hardware store would have it. Wrong!!! Went to Lowes, Home Depot, Walmart and even an Autozone. No one has heard of Teflon grease.
My question: What type of grease has any of you used on your home gym equipment? Maybe there is someone out there that works in a gym and can tell me what they might suggest?
Also, how often should you grease your equipment?
They did tell me to get surf or ski wax and run that in the tracks to help the ball thing run up and down the track.
Anyway, any help is greatly appreciated.

Here are the two I have:
Dupont Multi-Use Lubricant with Teflon Fluoropolymer
and
Krylon 20005TF 6OZ Teflon Lubricant

Got mine at Walmart... Hope that helps hon

I have a NordicTrack too! Don't know the full model name off hand, but its a spacesaver model. I've had my elliptical for about 3 years and can't remember when I started noticing the squeeks. About two weeks ago I asked my husband to fix it- he did (w/Teflon Grease). I don't know where he got it (he is a mechanic), but it only took him about 45 minutes - he unscrewed things and just brushed the grease on. Hope that helps.

I asked a friend of mine who works for a fitness center & she said suggested doing an internet search for something called Dupont Teflon White Lithium Grease. She said ACE Hardware usually has it.
