Exercising in the heat

I was wondering if more calories are burned working out in the heat? Most afternoons I go for a run/walk outside when its still about 90 degrees (and like 80% humidity). I always log my calories but I am so exhausted afterwards (as compared to how I feel doing that normal workout in a cooler spot) I feel like they can't be right. Does anyone know if there really are more calories burned and if so, can they be logged?
