Hi! I need to 'shake up' my routine. Any advice on P90X you can give me? I currently run 3x/week and do cardio/strength training the other 3 days. Ideas? Is it worth it? My weight loss has stalled!

Thanks!

Dawn

Yes, its worth it. I was also running 3-4x a week and was stalled before P90X. Since starting P90X, everything has kicked into full swing!

If you do it, follow the program, both the workouts and the nutirtion. Nutrition will drive your results!

Oh, and do the Classic version where you're lifting weights 3X per week.
  • Its totally worth it and one hell of a workout every time. It will push you right past your plateau.

Absolutely worth it! Just make sure if you want all of the guides and all of the information, get it from a legit source....a Beachbody Coach. Or if you have a friend that already owns all of the guides that is willing to share, that's even better. And make sure you have a pull up bar or something to drape a resistance band over :) I'm in my third week of P90X Lean (after doing multiple attempts of Classic) and I'm feeling great!

I am in week 8 of P90X Lean and loving it and getting results. I also ride my bike 6 days a week for extra cardio which I am sure helps. You can check out my photos on my blog. I recently posted Day 1 and 1/2 way Day 45 photos. Go further down and you will see my side by side Day 1 and Day 30 photos. On the 28th of this month I will be taking my 60 Day photos. I am loving this. I have every intention of doing a Round 2 and doing the Classic version when I am finished with this one. Then when that is over, the new P90X :MC2 should be out and I'll be ready for that. You will not be sorry, but you might be a little sore to start with. You have to just push play and follow the routine, even the stuff you hate. ( I hate Yoga, but I do it).
