Well im on my 4th week of insanity, and I have been progressing well. But in the past couple of days I have pain now in my legs that makes me have to stop for ten minutes or just not be able to finish. Im just wondering, is this supposed to be like this? I ask because next week is kind of a rest week, so maybe this was anticipated? If not then does anybody have any Idea why this is going on? I was able to do more in week 3 then i can now.

You mentioned the word "pain"... are you in pain or just more sore than usual? If you are more sore than usual then yes you are probably just ready for your rest week to let your muscles re-build.. if you are in pain, I'd pin point where exactly... is it your knee, a quad muscle, etc. and find what you may be doing to cause the pain and modify, or check into a doc..

you can try glutamine (L-glutamine) for sore muscles? you get pick it up in power or pill for and it helps the lactic acid leave your muscles after a work out so you do not get as sore, but you should make sure that this is the only problem and that you aren't too low in protein or have an injury

Assuming you're performing the routines with proper form, you shouldn't feel more than the usual muscle soreness. How's your nutritional intake? You should be having recovery meals after your workouts and have enough fuel to burn.

You're going to have to be more specific about the pain... Is it joint related? Muscle soreness? Where in your legs?

Its like on my lower leg on the inner shin side. Also my ankles kinda hurt. Its seems like a muscle related issue so maybe that recovery week is there for that very reason. I try very hard to keep perfect form, and ive been doing it well till the leg pain. Now Im doing less.
