PB2

Does anyone have any thoughts on PB2? I just got a jar and tried it as suggested and it was pretty gross :/ I guess a lot of pb's flavor comes from the fat content. I was really hoping it could be a PB replacement, but I don't think that's possible after tasting it. I still think it might be okay in smoothies... but I'm not sure.

Any suggestions for uses for PB2?

I am disappointed to hear that the PB2 didnt taste good. I was going to go out and get some. How did you eat yours? Did you just mix with water and use as a sandwich spread? I see there are recipes for it on the Bell Plantation website.

I used to eat this stuff all the time. Here are some suggestions: Whatever you do, don't follow the directions on the jar that tells you to mix it with your jelly. YECCH. That did not end well.

You can vary the amount of water you add to it, to make it thicker or thinner, depending on your tastes.

I could taste the difference between it and regular peanut butter, but it never bothered me. I thought it was great. But I only used it on PB&J sandwhiches (I'm addicted..) I never tried it on anything else, which might affect its taste.

I have found Nirvana and it is PB2! I just tried it for the first time (after reading rave reviews here) literally 10 minutes ago and I L.O.V.E. it. It might be that I normally eat all natural or low fat peanut butter but I found it to be great! I definitely would mix it with a little more water than it says and spreading it on a warmed english muffin was Mmm Mmmm good!
