P90X - Question about Cardio Days?

Hello MFP,
I am going to be starting P90X next week and was wondering what others did for the Cardio Days? Did you do all days from the DVD’s or did you substitute some of them with running, cycling, etc? Also did you continue to do your normal cardio workouts along with P90X workouts if you did not substitute any workouts? I am thinking that if I continue to do my regular Cardio workouts and the P90X workouts I will burn too many calories and not be able to eat enough to make up for the additional calories burned.
Any comments or suggestions or appreciated.

I would suggest doing the program as designed, without subbing different cardio, and without extra cardio. It is a carefully designed program with a set schedule, and following it as designed will maximize your results.0

I'm halfway through right now. I do the program exactly as designed in the am, and then add some light cardio / cross training in the PM. I run abt 3/4 days per week, bike 2 days, swim at least once. I do this mainly because I want to keep in the habit of going for quick evening workouts when school starts, and because I love the extra few calories it lets me snack on.0

Thanks guys! I will stick with the DVD's and maybe do some additional cardio on the non cardio days.0
