I have been on the site for a week and I only seem to be adding women to my friends. CJ you are NOT included in that, you were added today, LOL. I am VERY happily married (MFP user - kissiefish, ladies help her out too...) and we are working at this together. I want to have similar stories/issues/motivation from guys that are starting/veteran to calorie counting. I am in need of some guy friends to help me stay on this. I know there are some guys out there that are doing this calorie counting thing. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Add me if you would like! Males are harder to come by for friends on the site. Typical guy behaviour, haha. There are lots of men using the website but not nearly as many get involved with the friending and posting on the forums as the women do. I like it and enjoy it. I find it motivates me and inspires me. Also there is lots of great info to be found regarding nutrition and exercise. I am addicted!!! Forget facebook. Calorie counting has made all the difference for me. I have exercised on and off again for the last 5 years but continued to gain weight (40lbs over 5 years). Counting calories has kept me eating healthier and smarter and its attributed to some quick weight loss. I had no idea the unhealthy levels of some of the meals I previously enjoyed and prepared that my wife and I thought were fairly healthy.
