If you happen to be in the Galveston, Tx area on July 30th they are having a Sandman 5K Beach Challenge!

Summary:
Get ready to get physical at Galveston's first dune crawling, rope climbing, water running, who knows what else, 5K beach challenge. This event is guaranteed to make you work for the finish line. Be ready to test yourself on a challenging obstacle course and have fun at the same time. Then relax with a post race party, music, food and beer on beautiful Porretto Beach in Galveston.

Sounds like a lot of fun and what better way to celebrate your accomplishments than with beer! I thinking...ROAD TRIP!!!!
