I attend a Weight Lifting class at the YMCA. It's called Group Power. Basically, you work every part of your body, lifting weights to music for an hour. You also do abs, warm-up and cool down. Everything from pushups, chest flys, triceps, shoulders, legs . . . . . I'm not sure how to log it!!! Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

sounds just like BP, les mills body pump, or power lift, they're all the same. it's like 300/hour on avg, but that's not going to be exact. HRM??0

I only just started using MFP this week, and did BodyPump last night (as said before, basically the same thing). I wear a HRM and I just logged it on here as cardiovascular, as it's too hard to write everything in weights - plus I knew my approx calories burnt.
Hope that helps.0 -
Although a heart rate monitor is best used during a cardio session, you can get a good idea of what you're burning during a lifting session as well. Get a heart rate monitor.0
