Hi, The diet pill Addipex, has anyone ever taken it? Does it work along with the right food & exercise? Or is it just a waste of money? Can I really loose weight from taking them even if they don't give me the speed hyper feeling? Please help with any advice... It's very expensive and I'm suppose to go to the doctor's tomorrow to get them. Thanks!!!!

Nothing is a substitute for good old fashioned diet and exercise. If these pills worked like they say they do, none of us would be here.0

They did nothing for me. I was still hungry and lost absolutley no weight.0

I know that they're stimulants - can cause some people to have some emotional challenges - and can be very addictive.... eek.0

I did great on it...someone else just asked about it earlier today. Do a search for 'phentermine' that was done today and you will find a lot of responses there (including mine).
It appears, from the responses, it works great (unless you have side effects), but you must also learn and perform the healthy lifestyle, or the weight just comes back on when you finish taking the pills.0 -
Great question. I got mine from the doc and started them about 1 1/2 wks ago. The first day I felt fine but the next 3 days that I took them, I got sick. Nauseated, lightheaded and everytime I ate, I vomited. So, I stopped taking them for a few days to see how I would feel and get my body right again. I talked to the doc today and she told me to try half a pill instead of the entire pill and see how it works. I'll let you know if I have success. Let me know how things go for you.0

One of my friends used something very similar that was prescribed by her doctor. She only used it for 1 month and it was mainly used it as a "jump start" Her doctor had her have a food journal and an excercise journal and had her show it to him and make her accountable because he said she needed to change her lifestyle. I think she only used it for a month and she lost like 5 pounds, she said she wasn't hungry but she would actually make herself eat. Since then I think she has lost 20 pounds or so without the pills. I guess it's "good" for some people so they don't get discouraged the first month of so on their journey. My OPINION is that if you are going to be on them just make sure you use them smartly and remember that you will be responsible for training yourself to eat healthy and keep active. Im not really big on taking pills but I am not here to judge, do what you and your dr. feel is good for you and your situation.0
