... that are trying to lose, or have lost 75 or more pounds, I'm so proud of you. I know that I had a goal of a little over 50 pounds to lose and it was so scary and it's been a lot of work. I can imagine how much courage it takes to try to lose 75, 100 or 125 pounds. You guys are doing so good just being on here and trying.
And for those of you that have lost that much you are an inspiration to me, and I'm sure many others, to actually get off my but and work towards my goals.
Than you for trying and keep up the good work.

I have lost about 53 pounds since high school at this point. I did over the past 7 and a half years. I was never able to find something that would consistently work. In general, there was a downward slope in my weight. I have 54 more to go and this 54 is way more intimidating than the last 53. It means uncharted water for me (I can't remember ever being lower than the 210s). It also means that I will have to work harder to keep losing and I know that it will slow down eventually. I just keep telling myself, "Hey, I've done it before!". I'm just not looking to take 7 years to do it this time, lol.
The people on here who have lost a significant amount of weight are definitely an inspiration to me. The 54 I have left just seems like an impossible number sometimes. I fully planning to keep working on this and take on this challenge. It is great to see that people CAN do it and with some hard work I might be able to do it too.
You all are fabulous.

I agree. I began with a goal of 59lbs. I couldn't imagine setting out to lose the 80lbs I would have liked to. I am very proud of the huge amounts many of you guys have lost! It inspires me to keep going after I reach my first goal :flowerforyou:0

I wanted to get fit and looked at it that way. Next thing I knew sizes were dropping and I was down 75 lbs and I need to get more off and feel hopeless in doing it0

You have so little left, compaired to what you had to lose to start with. YOu can do it. Wouldn't it be great if the last 20 fell off like th first.0

I started out with 86lbs. to lose. I have another 51lbs. to go and it is a little scary for me now, but what really scares me is thinking about those last ten pounds. Uuggh! I have to say that everyone here at MFP is an inspiration to me in one form or another. You guys are just great. I mean really! :flowerforyou:0
