Activity Level

I originally put my activity level as sedentary kind of arbitrarily. I wanted to challenge myself and hadn't really thought so much about starvation mode, etc. Now I'm not so sure it's appropriate for my lifestyle, but I feel like it's pretty borderline. I'm a student, so I spend a decent amount of the day sitting in class, lying down reading, etc. But I also do some walking on a good day--walking to class (with a heavy book bag), shopping, light dancing at play rehearsals, improv comedy. I probably spend a cumulative 2 hours a day on my feet that I don't log for exercise. Am I sedentary?

I think I would consider you lightly active. Sedentary would be someone who sits at a desk ALL day, everyday and rarely visits the gym or works out.
Just my opinion.0 -
I read on another site that sedentary is only doing basic living stuff like dishes and laundry... then sitting the rest of the time0

Awesome! I think I'll switch my setting and see how it changes my lifestyle.0
