7 years ago I married my second husband at 145 pounds, maybe even 140. Today, I am 165, did not think it would happen to me, the midlife premenopausal waistline, but in the last year it has been happening to me. I have always been hyperactive and my metabolism has come to a standstill. So in a major effort to jumpstart my metabolism I have joined myfitnesspal. This is an excellent site. It has been 2 days and I have been dilligent about keeping track. Oh and by the way, did I mention that a month ago I quit smoking because my husband (at 50 years old) had his first heart attack. So as you can see, I need all the help I can get :-).
