Hello all you runners. I have been running for about 2 and 1/2 months now and my weight loss has slowed down. I realize I am gaining muscle and I should pay attention to my inches lost, which I am. My body is changing and I am happy with the results, but as a scale worshiper I am having trouble getting past not seeing weigh loss from week to week.
A litte background. I am a 42 year old female and I have lost 99 lbs and have 44 to go. I run 2 miles 5xs a week. I also do pilates for my warm up dailey and I am swimming several times a week also. I understand that is a big change and it will take time for my muscles to adjust, I just want some advice from those of you that have been here on how much longer I should expect to see little or no movement on the scale.
I appreciate any advice you could give.
