Hi I am on the hunt for a new machine and unsure which one I should invest in. What has your experience been and suggestions for either one - Treadmill or Treadclimber

All input is greatly appreciated!

Well, it depends on what you want to do... I've used the Nautilus Treadclimber at my gym and it's great but it's sort of limited in it's options. You can change the incline a bit and go faster or slower but that's it. However, with a treadmill, most will give you a wider variety of options for height and speed. You can walk, jog, run, go on a slight incline or a very steep incline (or even at a decline on some machines). Plus, at least in my experience, it's much harder to balance on the treadclimber so you might not be moving your upper body as much as you would on the treadmill. I have to hold on to the bars on the treadclmber or I will fall and completely embarrass myself! :)

However, if you're talking about just walking, the treadclimber definitely gives more of a workout than the treadmill.

Thank you that is exactly what I was looking for! I love to run and would hate to not be able to do it if I had a treadclimber.
