Micro-managing macro nutrients?

Title pretty much says it all.
I love this app it makes keeping track of food all day pretty much a no brainer. However, since I've started using it I've noticed several things about my eating habits. First I noticed my sodium intake is high so I'm adjusting my meal plans. Now I'm finding myself looking at my Dietary Fiber and Sugars which are both part of Carbs. While I've been pretty inline with my daily recommended carb intake I'm seeing the my Dietary Fiber and Sugars are consistently high.
How much should I be managing this? Or am I destined to drive myself crazy micro managing when I should be focusing more on the big picture?
Any constructive input would be great.
Thanks,
Bruce

The fiber goal should be viewed as a minimum, whereas sugar is for added sugar. (I don't track sugar as MFP does not distinguish between natural and added sugar) Fruit will put you over, yet is good for you in moderation.0

Focus on the macros and take a daily vitamin. Regular food throughout the day should push you over the top on any of the smaller micros. Unless you have some sort of deficiency that needs addressing(doctor) you should be good to go with just the multi.0

I just try to keep the good numbers over the recommended (fiber and protein) and the bad numbers under (carbs, fat, sodium, and calories). I also customized my macros to eat more protein and fiber, and less carbs, fat, and sodium.
I also don't track sugars, as I eat a lot of fruit, especially in the summer.0 -
read through it pretty quick. I would monitor fiber, but not to the extent of the other macros. Try to eat more fruits and veggies, maybe a scoop of metamucil. Sugars, well, everything is going to convert to a sugar inside you. Eat whole foods and less processed stuff. Im a big limit carbs kind of guy(i didnt say NOT eat them) I just dont eat more than 150g per day. It works for me, not so much for others.0

Great Feedback, As you can see in my diary reaching fiber hasn't really been an issue was more concerned about the sugars. As for the Supplements I do take a one-a-day multi vit as well as a vitamin c and an omega 3.
I'll try to relax my concerns on the Micros.
