So, I go to Subway about once a week, and it's usually mid-morning (grabbing a sub for lunch at work later). So I see the same employees when I go. We are friendly with one another, but I don't even know their names, and they don't know mine.

Today the one woman says to me: "You look like you're losing weight. Are you trying to?" I wasn't sure I heard her right so I asked her to please repeat it. She did. I grinned from ear to ear and said that I am and thanked her profusely for her compliment -- told her it made my day (and it did!). :happy:

She said she wasn't sure if she should say anything, but she figured it would be OK because we are both women.

For some reason, it means more coming from someone who mostly only knows what Subway sandwich I like -- she had no idea I've been working out and trying to eat better overall. Can't stop smiling about it! Yay! :smile:

    Random compliments are awesome!! I used to pass the same woman every morning on my walk/runs. After about 2 months she said to me "keep it up...you can really tell."
