Wait and see how you feel later in the day and maybe just do a shorter workout.0

Just listen to your body. If it's telling you to rest, then it's ok.0

Good advice.0 -
if you're just kinda tired and looking for us to say its ok to not exercise today, then NO! If you are legitimately sore and beat down and haven't had a rest day for a few days, then take it easy0
-
Of course it is! You do not HAVE to exercise everyday. If you are tired you won't be getting anything out of the exercise anyway. They suggest a day between exercising to recoup the body anyway :-)!0

It's a valid choice. What I might suggest is taking a walk or doing some light cardio just to keep your energy level up, but if you're really just too tired for anything, take a rest day. You should be having a rest day at least once a week anyway.
If you regularly get this exhausted after your workouts though, I might suggest changing your eating habits, and/or doing a shorter workout. You're overexerting yourself, and that's not going to be good for you in the long run.0 -
Just tone it down. You don't have to kill yourself every day. Rest is legitimate part of fitness, too. Good luck!0

This. I agree 100%. Listen to your body.0 -

Thats what I was wondering! lol
I would listen to your body.. You dont want to burn it out.. Maybe just do some low impact stuff today .0 -
Definately listen to your body.
Experts recommend you do 30 mins a day 5 times a week, with what you did yesterday i think having a rest today will be fine.

haha no -- no lost bet! i was just feeling pumped yesterday, and AquaFit is my fave, so i didn't want to skip it on top of everything else! i guess i did 2 days worth of working out yesterday, so it's ok if i rest today.... i'll be right back at it tomorrow!0 -
When I'm beat like that from a hard work out or just from a hard day I try just walking or biking that day.0

i relaxed on the couch til noon -- now i'm antsy, so i'm going to go for an easy bikeride )0

this is how i look at it, i have a goal to workout of 5xs a week m-f NO EXCUSES.
i work out abt 2hrs or more each session sometimes going over and end up in a pool..of....sweat.
those times when i feel tired bec of what i did the day before to me is not a excuse i still work out even if it means working our for a hr instead of 2 or finding another type of workout to get some type of workout in, i dont care if im sore i just pop two ibuprofen and keep it moving regardless of what my body says, i can very easily turn into a lazy beast and that has been a problem for me in the past i have learned to like the pain and stop whining abt what hurts and being tired.
i will say it again i have a goal to workout of 5xs a week m-f NO EXCUSES.0 -
Spread your workouts out to workout everyday!0

When that happens to me, I still try to make it to the gym and I just modify the intensity of my workout to a lower intensity cardio workout such as incline walking on the treadmill with weights as opposted to something like running or HIIT.0
