When to change weightloss goal

I have my goal set to 1 pound a week. I am about 135lbs and I'd like to lose around 5 more, but at this point I'm more focused on shape and toning. I'm at 22-23% body fat and I'd like to get down to 20%. I do a variety of workouts, including strength training. At what point should I be lowering my goal to 1/2 pound a week?

with 10-15 lbs to go your goal should be to lose no more than 0.5lbs/week. This helps ensure that you lose the majority of the weight from fat, if your deficit is too large and you don't have much to lose you may end up losing a large% of muscle, and could end up lighter, but with a higher BF%.0

I'd say lower it now. I lowered mine when I had 10 lbs left to lose. It's the hardest to come off and it should come off slowly that way it stays off.0
