Should I eat less when I am sick?

Should I eat less than the recommended calories on days when I am unable to move? I got a terrible sunburn from swimming the other day and have noticed that I have gained 2 lbs despite staying under my calorie limit. I have been rather immobile and sleeping a lot. The weight could just be weight fluctuation... What do you think?

Is it possible that you are dehydrated and that's where the 2lbs have come from? Water it up!

drink drink drink drink... the sunburn makes you retain water to help your skin heal.

It's probably water retention and swelling from the sunburn.

tons of water! you need the water to keep your skin hydrated and heal up! and your gain is probably from retaining water.

almost always when you get a really severe sunburn you will retain a lot of water. and because water weighs a lot that's why you have seen the gain.

Thanks for the responses... what everyone said makes a lot of sense. I am chugging the water now! Thanks!
