Walking or any form of cardio or aerobics workouts are beneficial for the whole body. Your body pretty much chooses when and where to lose fat and in what order, but with healthy living (nutrition and exercise) the fat will eventually melt off of everywhere. Workouts designed for abs and core and what not will help strengthen those belly muscles and side muscles so that when that fat disappears there is strong muscle to be seen. When you go on walks try to increase your speed, distance, stamina.0
