To much fiber??

Just wondering if its bad to go over the dietary fiber?? I go over everyday.

    I've been having this same issue and since I started getting more fiber, I've stopped losing weight.

    I go over my fiber every single day and am continuing to lose weight. You should be fine as long as you worked up to that level slowly. You may have some "irregularity" for a while if not...

    If you take too much, it can make you bloated, or constipated (if you arent hydrated)...I'll leave this for the experts:

    fiber is a good thing. MFP has it set abnormally low for whatever reason. we should be getting 14g for every 1000 calories eaten. i set my diary to 20g & aim to go over. ♥

    A long time ago I didn't eat enough fiber. And because of that, every time I went to the bathroom it felt like 5 minutes with Lexington Steel. Moral of the story: eat your fiber.

    I had too much fiber and not enough water last week, and I couldn't **** for like 3 days. I kept trying and trying, and eventually, the only thing that came out was a blob of what looked like strawberry jam! It wasn't strawberry jam, though.

    Anyway, just drink enough water and you'll be fine.

    ok.. So yeah my stomach is in knots right now and I haven't been able "to go". Lol I thought I was drinking enough water to I'll drink more.

    If you are having tummy issues you might want to look into what kind of fiber you are eating.

    I'm not an expert - but I do know there are 2 types of fiber: soluble and insoluble. One type may be harder for you to digest than the other. Yes - water is always good.

    eat your fiber before your meal. burns more calories by making your body work harder.
    i go over on my fiber when i eat well!

    Haha I feel better too. I was irregular for awhile...as in 2 weeks with nothing >.> I have upped my water intake though and continue eating about 20-30grams of fiber/day and am more regular than I've ever been so maybe getting rid of this waste and hopefully a few lbs as well.

    I 'go' at least twice a day. If I don't, I know I haven't eaten enough fiber.
    (I also drink 10-12 glasses of water a day, sometimes more.)
