Getting My Mind Right To Get My Body Tight

Being in shape is psychological for me. I have no problem losing the unwanted pounds when my mind is in the right place. I believe we all must be in the right frame of mind before we will dedicate our lives to being healthy individuals. I am focusing on three key areas in order to remain on the right track...

1. Make healthy eating choices (portion sizes, more H2O...)

2. Dedicate at least 30-60 minutes of exercise a day, 3xs/week

3. Pray and ask God for guidance and strength to sustain this journey towards a healthy life

I know that once my mind is fully engulfed in this lifestyle, the pounds will begin to disappear!

Remember Phillipians 4:13 "I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me."

    When I was between jobs I gained a lot of weight quickly because I felt like I had no purpose. When I'm working and feeling like I actively contribute to my life and the lives of others, I lose weight. When I feel better, I automatically treat myself better. You're right, maintaining the right frame of mind no matter what life throws at us is the key to keeping ourselves safe and healthy.
