Would this be of interest?

I'm not sure where to post this, but I'm looking for input...

I'm thinking about starting a home business (to attach to that which I already do! heheh) called Belly Grooves. It'd be a traveling bellydance workshop.
I got this idea because a friend of mine referred me to her friend, who wanted bellydance lessons at her bachelorette party. It was then that I realized there may actually be a market for this!

Is this something you think would spark interest? Granted, I'm not planning on becoming rich, but I thought it'd be fun to do.

What sorts of things would you like to see from something like this?

Would you prefer a per person, or a group rate?

Would you like the option of purchasing bellydance scarves as gifts for those who attend?

I'd love any feedback, because I want to make it as awesome and fun as possible :)

That sounds so cool! It sounds like a GREAT idea for a woman who doesn't want the get-drunk-stripper-personal-massager party.

I think you could set it up like a PT who makes house visits, and just charge more for a group, but have it cheaper per person in a group setting. So you could to 1 hr for $45 for an individual, or for 2-4 people it would be 35-40 per person, and for 4+ people it might be 25-30 per person.

I personally would expect some intros to simple moves, then some more complex ones, and then you stick it all together so we have an actual performance to do. Music would be great. You could ask the person to make sure they have a cleared space for however many feet you need for whatever size group you have. You shouldn't have to provide refreshments either.

Bellydancing scarves sound perfect, and I *know* you would sell more if you handed them out to borrow during the lesson WITH the option to buy. Once you get to wear it the whole time, of course you want to buy it.

You could also sell little bangles or more clothing as you earned more money. Your regulars would probably want to have an entire outfit in time.

When I was in highschool I went with friends to bellydance classes. They were 2$ per person per hour and SO fun. The teacher brought outfits with her so we got to dress up. It was really fun, maybe bringing outfits would be good? It was mostly just skirts and cool scarves.
