Salty snack

I love crunchy/salty snacks. Here is something I came up with and wondering if anyone has any comments about it. I used to make up my own sort of a mix using nuts and fruit like dried fruit (mostly cranberries or cherries) and maybe add some chocolate chips to it. Not good, but I suppose better than a bowl of ice cream or something.
What I came up with is dried peas (which are the only thing salted), add in unsalted almonds and unsalted walnut pieces.
I have a small cup, probably a 3 oz cup or so, when resting and watching tv.

We did something similar but went for full trail mix with unsalted nuts (cashews, peanuts), dried fruit (pineapple, cherry, apricot), sesame stix, and some sweet stuff (mini m&m's, dark chocolate covered raisins, and butterscotch chips) all purchased in bulk. Works out to 204 calories and 97 mg sodium per 50 g...a very satisfying snack and 3 servings made an effective meal replacement on a recent cross country flight!0
