Low protein? Any particular reason? Protein keeps you full and can be very lean, depending on how you get it.
But, to answer your question: fruits, veggies, whole grains, potatoes sweet or regular, beans.0 -

Grilled Chicken, Grilled Turkey, Salmon
these aren't low in protein0 -
I'm so distracted...why low protein? I've love to know that one... I'm a firm believer that there is no such thing as too much protein!0

Low fat yes, Low protein no unless you have a medical condition!
Please explain......0 -
Low protein because I've already gone over in protein today and still have about 200 cals and if I need a snack or something later... I would prefer something that will not but me further in debt with my protein : )0

Im thinking someone is confused. Ive never in my life heard of a person trying to eat low protein.0

I go over in protein all the time. As long as you are under your calories this wouldnt be a problem. If anything, you dont want to go over in Carbs or Fat. Otherwise, Protein away!0 -
Low protein diets are for kidney problems. I'd rather go over protein than anything else.0

I wouldn't worry about going over on your protein...it will just keep you fuller for a longer period of time. Stay under your overall calories, and watch that you don't go over on fats and carbs and you should be good
What about air popped pop corn? Or fruit and yogurt...0 -
Going over your protein (and your fiber) is good. I personally STRIVE to go over my protein every day! It's already set pretty low on here, and even with mine manually set higher, I still like maxing it out.
Fat isn't bad, either, if it's a "good fat" like in fish or nuts or avocados. Not so good if it's in french fries.
If I had an extra 200 calories burning a hole in my stats just for a snack, I think I'd go for an ice cream sandwich. Not necessarily even a diet one. A regular one is still only about 170 calories and portion controlled.0 -
Guys I really don't know much about calories protein and what not... But it had shown on my thing that I was n the negatives so SORRY for asking. Those of you informing that its not a big deal if I go over in protein and those who gave some ideas THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!0

You can actually change those settings... I know a lot of people do since the automatic figure for carbs/protein is backwards for a lot of people. I changed mine to 45% protein, 30% carb, 25% fat0 -
Thank you MissMaryMac330

fresh fruit, (I'm having fresh Rainier Cherries right now)
oatmeal
fresh veggies, I'm thinking finger foods like baby carrots, snap peas, cherry tomatoes
baked potato? Thick potato wedges baked in the oven with a bit of season salt, like steak fries. Ketchup or mustard for dipping.
I usually have a treat when I get to the end of the day with extra calories. A piece of nice chocolate does the job.0
