I went to the gym during my hour break at work today, and manaed a full 31 minutes - 16 on the treadmill at speed 5, then 15 minutes on the exercise bike - level 3 (I only managed speed 4.5 and level 2 before).
My trainer came over and said he'd been watching me workout and wants to change my workout on Friday when I next see him, I will finally get a chance to use the rowing machine

I feel wonderful after my workout

Just had to share

What are sets? I've heard so many people talk about them, but I have no idea what they are :blushing:

Sets are groups of repetitions. It's used in weight training.

Repetitions are the number of times you do the exercise. This would be like using the rowing machine for 25 rows.

Sets would be the number of times you complete the series of repetitions. This would be doing 25 reps of rowing, stopping (momentarily or for a few minutes), doing another 25 reps. That would be two sets of 25 reps.
