I went for my first walk to day and I didnt do anything before I went walking and I got a leg cramp any of yall know any good warm ups?!?

Try doing stretching exercises first, that always helps me. If your not sure what to do, I bet there is a list online somwehere - I use a theraband to help stretch.0

well you definitely need to stretch your legs.
try to do lunges so that it stretches your leg out.

Eat some potassium, too, like a banana or potato and drink lots of water.0

May be dietary related too.
Bananas are good to reduce cramping muscles.
You'll need to stretch too. Hoping someone else will post that info. I'm the world's worst at stretching!0 -
There's a whole thread on here from about 5 days ago that I started and got lots of good advicce! Actually I think there are 2 that I started...one is called Calve Pain while walking, and the other one is called Stretching....I would get it and post the link here for you but I dont know how to do that:noway: lol
Anyway, I got lots of great advice, check it out!

You can get to any of the topics you post by going to the community tab and clicking on My Topics underneath the tabs at the top.
I usually do the Biggest Loser Cardio Max DVD. The DVD warm up includes front lunges, side lunges, and pretend jump roping. I can't remember the whole warm up. I haven't done it in a few days b/c I'm sick. :grumble:
