Hey, guys! Guess this will be a good place for weekly weigh ins. I personally weigh in on Tuesdays, but I think it will be fine to just post your weekly weight or what not whenever you weigh :) Please feel free to share about yourselves ~ I am new to these boards, so would like to make new friends :) I have been logging on my iPad app for a while but didn't realize (snicker) that there were boards to post on!!

    A litte about me:
    I am 31 years old. I have been very happily married (and I truly mean that) to my best friend, Andrew, for 12.5 years. I met him when I was 16 and we got married when I was 18. I had our first child at 19 years young, my second at 22 and my third at 25. I have to admit that I have been caught up in the Mommy whirl wind for the past 12 years ~ and though I know I will be here for a while (thankfully!!), I do need to start thinking about my health. I am much bigger than I ever dreamed of being. I want to be healthy!!

    I do First Place at my church and count calories as my eating program.

    I had a pretty big shoulder surgery on June 1 so I am still pretty much out of commission working out. I did get on a elliptical (the one w/ no moving arms) a couple days ago, but I can't do anything over low impact for the time being. It really jars my shoulder. I am 7 weeks post op, but total recovery time for this type of surgery is 4-6 months. I had 2 tears in my labrum and shoulder instability from a bad running accident 2.5 years ago. NO, I will never run again!! EVER. It is not worth it for me to go thru the pain I have the past 2.5 years. I do miss running ~ it was fun! I just have flat feet and weak ankles and no sense of balance which makes a dangerous combo!!

    I am Kelly. I would love to get to ONEderland by Winter. I am a daughter, wife, mom and grandma. I love to sew, quilt, scrapbook, and do paper crafts. I love my family and especially enjoy being a grandma to my four wonderful grandchildren. My hubby and l like to travel.

    Oh, good luck!! You can do it!! My birthday is January 2...would be a wonderful birthday present to ourselves to get there, huh?

    Basically, just to be in ONEDERLAND by Christmas (or birthday or New Years since they all fall in the same week, right?).

    My name is Amber. I'm 25 years old and a mommy to my beautiful boy/girl twins. I want to lose weight to be healthy for my babies, to look good for my hubby and weigh less than him and to wear pretty dresses and high heels :)

    My name is Kristin..I'm 29, married to my very best friend for almost 10 years now. We have 3 children (7yr old boy, 4yr old girl, almost 5month old baby boy). My short term goal that I'd already set for myself was to be 200 be our 10th wedding anniversary which is December 29th... It would be WAY better to get into ONEderland!!! And I'm on my way! Lost 26lbs so far.

    I'm currently in another challenge (it's a 60 day challenge) and we're weighing in on Wednesdays so I'll do mine for here then too!

    I think we should do a spreadsheet to keep track of our weigh ins. I can do the spreadsheet no problem! For those participating we should friend each other. Every Tuesday you can send me the message of the weigh ins. Is this a good idea???

    Okay, here we go ladies! My name is Jerrie, I am 54, live in Dallas, TX, & have been married for almost 20 years to a wonderful man who is my best friend. I have one son (27) who is a US Marine (very proud of him) who has decided to return to school to become a personal trainer. I have a gorgeous 3 year old granddaughter, Selena Avalon, who holds my heart. I want to be around to watch her walk across the stage at her graduation and her to know that her Mimi is her biggest supporter! I know I have to get healthy in order to do that & I know I am fighting genetics in this battle, but I plan on winning the war!!

    Thank you for doing a spreadsheet! I didn't even think of that :) I woke up stoked about this challenge this morning. I can't think of anything better than being 31 pounds lighter for the beginning of the New Year.

    When do you suppose we should close the group off? I see that alot of groups do that?

    Hey all,

    Just a quick introduction -- My name is Pam, and I hope to be in onederland by the winter (the fall would be even better, but I'll take the winter!). I have the best boyfriend in the world; we've been together for 2 years and own a house together. Not married yet, but it's in our future. :smile:

    I committed to eating better and exercising more in the beginning of June and have so far lost 6 pounds. I'm working out 5 - 6 days a week, usually twice a day -- I've been doing the 30 Day Shred in the mornings and a run/walk program at night. My ankle hasn't been feeling too great this week though, so I've taken the last two days off from running. Hopefully I'll be back on tonight!

    Can't wait to get to onederland!!

    For editing - I think there is only a certain amount of time in which you can edit your post. As to when or if to close off the group, that's up to you & however many people pammyedwards wants to deal with on a spreadsheet! Thanks for organizing, both of you!
