I am curious about what ONE food was a holiday favorite in former years (or an indulgence this year)... and what HEALTHY options you are doing THIS year for the holidays?

Mine:
Indulgence - Homemade rolls, my mother makes them and slathers them in butter.....sooooo good.
Healthy Alternative - Silk beverages (Pumpkin and Nog)

My Indulgence: Cookies in large amounts all day long for days at time (Turkey Day, Day After Turkey Day, December)

Healthy Alternative: 1 piece of pie on Turkey Day, 2 cookies for Christmas
  • Indulgences: Everything! lol I make so many types of cookies, truffles and other bad stuff and it is really hard to not sample everything and then some.

Healthy Alternatives: The willpower to limit myself this year. That and trying to not pick at the turkey skin!

HAHA! Okay, I think I was misunderstood....

What I mean is... what indulgences were your weakness in the past or do you intend on having this year as an (indulgence)?

What new and healthier options will you be incorporating into your holidays this year (not necessarily replacing things)?
