I am curious about what ONE food was a holiday favorite in former years (or an indulgence this year)... and what HEALTHY options you are doing THIS year for the holidays?
Mine:
Indulgence - Homemade rolls, my mother makes them and slathers them in butter.....sooooo good.
Healthy Alternative - Silk beverages (Pumpkin and Nog)

Indulgences: Christmas cookies and Pumkin pie
Healthy alternative: I'll have more of my fav veggies and try to to have such a darn big slice( I tihnk I might skip the whipped cream to) As for the cookies..........I won't eat a half dozen shortbread cookies a day.0 -
Indulgences: Homemade Eggnog with homeade whipped cream and nutmeg.
Healthy Alternative: Portion control.0 -
My Indulgence: Cookies in large amounts all day long for days at time (Turkey Day, Day After Turkey Day, December)
Healthy Alternative: 1 piece of pie on Turkey Day, 2 cookies for Christmas0 -
Indulgences: Everything! lol I make so many types of cookies, truffles and other bad stuff and it is really hard to not sample everything and then some.
Healthy Alternatives: The willpower to limit myself this year. That and trying to not pick at the turkey skin!0 -
