Today's challenge is: Crunches

Let's see if we can do 125.
Let's shoot for 125 this week but the catch is, I want everyone to do those 125 the hardest way they can. There are many different ways to do crunches so I will leave it up to you choose the hardest method.

You can do them any style you want and you have until midnight to get them done.
If you can't do 125 then do what you can.
The important thing is that you try to do it.
Make sure you stretch and have fun doing them.
Report back when you are done and let us know how you did.

I recently had back surgery so I can't do "crunches" yet... thanks for the "mini challenges" though.. I'll keep looking for one that I can modify safely during recovery... It's been 7 months but it was major surgery: 2 rods and 8 large screws to stabilize the spinal cord... I'm trying to do brisk walks every other day... and lower back stretches... P.S. after losing my beloved son of 23 years (1 1/2 years ago) I feel like I'm doing pretty good... I also quit smoking December of this past year... unfortunately I gained a good 15 lbs. ! I really like this site, It is encouraging me... thanks

I am so sorry. This is the first day since I started the mini challenges, that I failed to complete them. Honestly, I failed to start them. I may do crunches tomorrow in addition to the Saturday challenge.

I got mine done. I did the "touch the elbow to the opposite knee" method and actually did 130 of them.

You all are awesome! Keep up the great work as it inspires us all in turn it inspires each and everyone of you as well.

thanks... I need your encouragement... I've lived my life "giving of myself to others"... I've never expected anything in return... I tend to thrive off helping others and the self satisfaction that it provides for me... however, at this point in my life I admit that "I" need a little help to continue on this new journey... I really like this site, it feels very helpful and objective at the same time... good luck to you as well
