Hey yall!
This week starts the beginning of "Mississippi's Greatest Houseparty", which is nothing more than our county fair. During the fair we move into our cabin on the fairgrounds. Its a great time of family, friends, and FOOD! Meals consist of pot luck meals prepared by various family memeber and fair foods (funnel cake----yikes!!!) my question is.......... how should I go about logging calories during this week? I've made alot of good progress with my weight loss and don't want to take a step backwards! All suggestions and comments are greatly appreciated! THanks ya'll!

Any way that you could type in some fair type food in the food search log - I've found lots of comprable items....Maybe you could find a few things that you could allow yourself to have or maybe you can ask a family member(s) on the same path to spit things with you, or maybe ask if you can put some money in, and just ask for bites of theirs - that way you still get the yummy food, without feeling the need to eat the whole thing? I don't know if you're like me, I used to eat everything just because I felt that I had to.... I'd also say, perhaps you could bring your own food as well- that way you are eating something healthy- maybe try to eat two normal meals - like breakfast/lunch and then allow yourself something at dinner....Maybe take a few walks a day- it's surprising how many calories that gives you back. Also, make sure you drink lots of water- not only will it help with the heat, fill you up, but the soda and lemonade have tons of calories....Best of luck to you, I know it's not easy. Hit me up with a message if you need moral support!!!
