I've been crazy busy with teaching today and haven't eaten enough AND I still have to work out! I am looking at OVER 1000 calories to eat tonight!?!? 911! I HATE stuffing myself just to hit my numbers....and my meals are pretty set already.
Do you think it would matter much if I carried a few over to tomorrow? I won't be able to work out tomorrow and will be stuck at school ALL day until 8:30 PM..... The school is catering our dinner as well (which I tried to select a healthy sandwich and am opting for soup not chips....not sure if THAT is the best option).
Pointers...advice....I hate being an under-eater!

One day of not eating all your calories won't send you into starvation mode. My advice is to just relax and eat what you already have planned. Or eat pizza, tons of calories in that.0

Forgetting to eat is like forgetting to breath for me! Never had this problem!!!
I agree with AnnaBanana. One day won't getcha. Eat some pizza and have a beer. (OMGOSH, THAT SOUNDS SO WONDERFUL RIGHT NOW!!!! Too bad I already ate today, LMAO  )0 -
Currently I am at 1038 and I need to hit 1500, without exercise....
So, it's more then just a few I am missing.0 -
I SO cannot relate to this ha ha. Never a prob for me!
My advice would be to have a handful of almonds or a healthy higher calorie snack if you really want to eat more calories.0 -

I did just down a handful of almonds.
I'll see if I can fill in some gaps.0 -
I could eat 500 calories in no time, heck my favorite starbucks coffee and a cookie would clock in at over 700. :drinker:0

Honestly it will be okay. You have to go way under for more than a day to go into starvation mode. You will be fine.0

Find something you've been craving and haven't been able to fit in, and enjoy!

:noway: Not quite sure it works that way0 -
I think for one day it would be better to come in under your calories then to try and eat them all at once. You might stuff yourself, then set off that little person in your brain that remembers the day when we ate til we could eat no more. Nobody is going to eat perfectly everyday, I would think that is why our body stores fat reserves in the first place (just an opinion). Eat if you are hungry and don't worry about it.0

I have to agree - 1 day of going under, even by a lot... even under 1200... will be just fine. Don't stress and DEFINITELY don't stuff yourself. Bad news there.0

I'm with you today too... exercised and got an extra 800 calories. But I'm on an antibiotic that I have to take on an empty stomach... one hour before or two hours after eating. So, it kind of throws off my schedule a bit--last night I fell asleep on the couch and took it when I went to bed at 11. Then, wanted to keep it close to 12 hours later, so threw off my eating, I didn't eat lunch until 2:30 today. Ate a HUGE lunch, and ate myself silly for dinner. I still have 500 or so calories to get in, and it just isn't going to happen today. I'm halfway bummed, because that is a lot more food I could eat, or even a chocolate bar! mmmmm Now there's an idea, but it figures I'm too full to eat it!0

Maybe a big glass of milk? Give you a little extra calcium too!0

lol, I had a cup and a half at dinner time... BIG glass of milk0
