I just finish day2 wk2 of c25k and it felt great! With new shes and all your great suggestion (especially the alphabet suggestion and rolling your shins with frozen water bottles) I ran almost completely pain free! Thanks for all your support! L.:happy:

    I keep hearing a lot about this C25K thing. But I'm not sure what it actually is. Maybe I should google but if you have information on it, share, please! (:

    you lay on the floor and rite the alphabet with your toes both upper and lower case.

    Its worked wonders for me I don't always lay on the floor, I do it watching the TV, when I'm reading to my kids, and so on. it seems to have really worked for my shin splints


    couch to 5k is a great p-program for beginning runners I start you out very slowly a walk run really, and you slowly increase you running until you can do a straight 5k or thirty minutes of running I'm loving it !
