I have noticed since starting on this site just how much salt I have been taking in. I am starting to realize that the only way to control salt intake is to cook almost all meals myself versus eating out or eating prepackaged meals. Lot of extra work, but it is helping me to also eat healthier.

Prior to starting this I was easily eating well over double the daily recommended salt intake - I have found in the options on this site how to also track sodium, very enlightening...
