Insanity - Calories burned ?

Options
Howdy !

Just a quick one for everyone doing Insanity, how many calories do you burn in one session ? I know it differs between people and their shapes, but me and my partner haven't got a calorie watch. We are average build, 5"5/140lbs and 6"1/168lbs respectively, so I don't know if this will help for you. Our BMI's are 23 as well.

Anyone of similar height and weight and be able to help ? Thank you

I used this site to calculate my burn-
    http://www.braydenwm.com/calburn.htm
Just take your pulse a few times while working out come up with an average then plug it into the calculator (along with the other specifics) and it will give you a close number. Worked really well for me...

How do I subtract calories from a meal that I've already added?

I just finished my last workout and have done every workout with a hear rate monitor. I calculated my calories burned at http://www.braydenwm.com/calburn.htm.

But basically, the first month I burned about an average of 500 calories per workout. The second month I burned about 650 calories per workout.

Good luck it's a tough program but I got great results and feel great.

I don't know what insanity is like, but I don't have a cal counter either and I normally just mark down my DVDs as circuit training... It's not the best as far as accuracy I suppose, but I try and use it as an estimate!

Also -- your baby is adorable! :)

I used this program before I got a hrm and then afterward just for fun checked to see how accurate it was....pretty close if you are consistent with your exercise and you take your hr at reasonable intervals...every water break is a good idea...

    good luck
