Have been thinking about getting a little help here lately in this weight loss struggle of mine. I am down almost 50 lbs from a yr ago but have been at the same weight since prob November and I would really like to lose about 30 to 40 more. What do you all think of the Herbalife program???? I want the good the bad and the ugly here folks! I wanna hear it all! Thanks!

I use the shakes 2x per day - replacing breakfast and lunch. They taste soooo good and keep me full in between meals. I have tried, but do not use on a regular basis, the protein bars and herbal tea concentrate. There are other products I would like to try but I find them quite pricey.

BTW, I have lost 21lbs in the last 8 weeks....also working out 7 days per week so I cannot say exactly how much of that is the shakes :P
  • Herballife was started by Tony Robbins , great speaker, it has helped many many people, but is a little over priced for what it does. To be honest i would go with something like Shakeology or BodybyVi. I know Shakeology well help you break your plateau it helped me with mine. BodybyVi is very similar so would be another route to look.

I did Herbalife a few years ago. My experience:

    1. It works. I lost 40 pounds in 4 months.

    2. The "Total Control" completely shuts down your system. I had heartburn, hemoroids, constipation. Took months to get my body back on track.

    3. The vitamins and shakes contain a LOT of licorice root. Licorice root is synthetic estrogen. Messes with your reproductive tract. I now have a 7 year old son.....thanks to Herbalife. (I'm happy about that, but after 15 YEARS of marriage, he was a surprise)

In conclusion, it works, but use caution.

Should add...........it is mostly natural. Reading the labels on Slim Fast is a crash course in chemistry. Not so much with Herbalife.
